Trapped either way

Someone brought this scenario to my attention, it's pretty crazy, but these shapes come up from time to time, and not talked about very often.
What stands out for me, is that you're basically trapped either way:
On the LHS:
The remaining tiles is:
- This leaves a trapping square on the right.
On the RHS:
The remaining tiles are:
- This leaves a trapping square on the left.
OR
- This leaves a trapping square on the left too.
Interesting in this case, at least you can potentially rescue two meeple, if you draw the tile, for the RHS.
There are other scenarios that leave a meeple trapped either way. I'll post one when I see it next.
